San Francisco Chinatown has a very special place in my heart. Something about being surrounded by all the old grandmas and grandpas playing cars or the smell and sights of all the produce markets or maybe it’s the roast duck in the window. So many things just give me a nostalgic feeling about seeing and eating these things as a child and make me feel more connected to my Chinese culture. I now appreciate them in a not-just-being-dragged-to-all-these-places way and can’t belive how lucky I am to be so close to such a beautiful Chinatown!
