I helped Cal Academy design their T-shirt for their 2026 Lunar Underground event! The design will be printed live by San Franpsycho!

I was so stoked to design this shirt! I LOVE Cal Academy and have been a big fan of San Franpsycho. But I digress!

I took inspiration from Chinese chop seals/block printing to make the design look like a traditional red stamp but still wanted to make sure the iconic green roof of Cal Academy still stood out. It is year of the fire horse so I put a cute little horse on the top of the roof as well as surrounding the block.

Green lanterns are a fun twist that gives a nod to the many green living organisms within the museum.
